Pastor Rachel Crumley
Called in 2013 as the 24th installed pastor of Tuscarora Church, the Rev. Rachel
Crumley is the first female pastor installed in nearly 275 years of ministry in this place.
At the time, she was told that Tuscarora was a congregation of people with passion for a
purpose, and in her years of ministry in this place, she has found that to be entirely true!
That purpose is following Christ’s call to love our neighbors and Christ’s commission to
go out into the world, willing to take a chance on the future, while at the same time
keeping roots deep in the rich history of the past.
